Conditions Treated

A substance may affect any organ, which could cause a multitude of symptoms varying case to case. For example, a reaction to wheat may cause hives in one person, digestive issues in another, fatigue, wheezing or Acid Reflux in others. We address the specific organ systems affected by the allergen or offending substance.

ALLERGENS TREATED: We can treat almost any substance or stimulus, including:

Shell Fish ∙ Red and White Wine ∙ Beer ∙ Chemicals ∙ Latex ∙ Fruit ∙ Perfumes ∙ Dust ∙ Food Components ∙ Berries ∙ Upholstery ∙ Eggs ∙ Airborne Irritants ∙ Animal Dander ∙ Metals ∙ Coffee ∙ Herbal Remedies ∙ Mites ∙ Nutritional Supplements ∙ Nightshades ∙ Woods ∙ Detergents ∙ Softeners ∙ Seasonal Allergies ∙ Plastics ∙ Insect Bites/Stings ∙ Chocolate ∙ Grains ∙ Environmental ∙ Dairy ∙ Sunlight ∙ Fabrics ∙ Pollen ∙ Fungus ∙ Wheat ∙ Grass ∙ Barometric Pressure - - - And 1000s more!

Allergens are categorized in four groups:
- Contactants - Inhalants - Ingestants - Injectants

- Respiratory System
Symptoms include asthma (Childhood asthma is among the most serious and widespread health risks afflicting children today.), nasal congestion, ear infection, running nose, hay fever, skin conditions, sneezing, wheezing, rashes, and itchy and watery eyes. Reactions may be caused by allergies and sensitivities to pollens, dust, food, chemicals and animals (including dog and cat dander and bird feathers), air-borne substances, heat, cold, humidity, contactants and inhalants.

- Headaches and Migraines
Caused by allergies/sensitivities to food such as chocolate and caffeine, airborne irritants such as pollens and chemicals including household cleaners, perfumes, vehicle fumes, and AC and building materials. Typically found in inhalants and ingestants. Other stimuli that may cause headaches and Migraines are changes in barometric pressure and light sensitivity. We have successfully treated for these, as well.

- Dermatological
Symptoms may include eczema, dermatitis, skin rashes, hives and blisters. The main cause of dermatological reactions is allergies/sensitivities to food but can also be caused by plants, latex, chemicals, insect bites and stings: contactants and injectants.

- Digestive System
Reactions include Acid Reflux, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and its common symptoms of diarrhea, constipation, bloating, abdominal pain, intestinal pain, gas and vomiting. Primarily caused by food allergens or other ingestants.

- Tiredness and Fatigue
Many reactions result in lethargy and feelings of fatigue. Tiredness can also occur at certain times of the day, such as in the afternoon after eating.

- Multiple Systems
Allergies/sensitivities affect multiple systems, resulting in ear pain, heartburn, hyperactivity, headaches, irritability, hyperactivity, mood swings, fatigue, tachycardia, arthritis or inflammation. In children such reactions can manifest as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which is often accompanied with redness around the eyes and nose and repetitive behavior patterns.

Many common conditions may be a result of inappropriate reactions, including asthma, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). However, not all such cases are allergic reactions.

PLEASE BE ADVISED

We do not treat cases of anaphylaxis and due to the unpredictable nature of allergies, sensitivities and the immune system, We (as is the case with all forms of healthcare) cannot guarantee any results. We cannot guarantee new allergies/sensitivities will not develop in the future. While we can treat most forms of allergies/sensitivities, some very rare cases do not respond to the treatment.
